A Duke on a journey to meet with the Pope falls victim to identity theft after he is abducted by a gang of bandits in this period drama from director Bob Montero. The year is 1506 and Duke of Riveria y Fuentes has been sent to Rome by King Philippe of Spain so that he may exchange a title with the Pope for an alliance and a treaty. On route to Rome the Duke is taken prisoner by bandit Duccio and his gang. Upon realizing the Duke's mission, Duccio makes way for Rome with the Duke's credentials and meets with Roman nobles and experiences a ravishing night of passion at Lucrecia Borgais' palace of the Masked Lady. In this story, a young nobleman with an unusually strong interest in horse-breeding is being prepared to marry the wealthy niece of an American Cardinal. (Noble families which are growing impoverished try to marry off their younger generations to the heirs of wealthy commoners.) When the girl arrives at the nobleman's family mansion the day before the wedding, she is shown around the house and its treasures and is told the story of an ancestor's legendary battle against a beast. That night, she dreams of an erotic encounter with a man/beast which culminates in the death of the beast. On awakening, she finds that she has been in bed with her fiancé, who is now dead.
