New York's toughest lady detectives re-team to solve the murder of a homeless transient who had been terrorizing the residents of a posh apartment building with screaming threats, insults and physical intimidation. Though the cops think the culprit is another street person, Cagney and Lacey believe the real killer is one of the tenants, many of whom have ample reason to have murdered the boorish bum. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

In 1994 -- six years after the final episode of the groundbreaking 1980s television crime drama Cagney & Lacey -- Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly reprised their iconic roles for the first of four TV-movie sequels. Cagney & Lacey: The Return finds the now-retired Lacey reuniting with the now-married Cagney for a case involving weapons smuggling, all while dealing with women's issues such as career, marriage, parenthood -- and, this time around, menopause -- in the trademark style that made the parent show such a cultural touchstone. ~ Sandra Bencic, All Movie Guide

Now that her best friend Teddy (Tahj Mowry) has developed the traditional five-year-old's disdain for girls, Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) is worried that she will no longer be accepted by any of her male schoolmates. As a result, she re-invents herself as a tomboy, with the expected wacky results. Elsewhere, Joey (David Coulier) asks Jesse (John Stamos) to take charge of the music on his TV kiddie show; and DJ (Candace Cameron) attempts to scare Steph (Jodie Sweetin) out of her persistent nosiness. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
In the first episode of a two-part story, everyone in the Tanner household suffers when Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) tries to win a cooking merit badge. Meanwhile, Danny balks at giving DJ permission to study in Spain during the summer. And in a last-chance effort to insure the saleability of his music video, Jesse receives some stellar backup support from "Beach Boys" Mike Love and Bruce Johnston. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Free-spirited artist Lindsay Wagner learns that she's dying from cancer. She can handle that, but she worries about the future of her 6-year-old daughter Molly Orr. Enter high-powered executive Shelley Long, Lindsay's oldest friend. Despite the fact that they obviously move in different circles, Shelley commits herself to the task of properly raising young Molly. This lachrymose TV movie suffers from surprisingly noncommital performances by its stars. Message From Holly premiered December 13, 1992. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
