Teresa (Ana Belen) is an aristocrat's daughter and doesn't give a fig for the lives of mere servants. However, she is erotically drawn to one of her servant's sons, and that is not something she will ever ignore. On the night of a party celebrating her betrothal to another aristocrat, she lures the boy into her room and indulges in frenzied lovemaking with him. In the hubbub and confusion, he hits his head on a bedpost and dies. She entices yet another into her room and induces him to help her get the boy's body to the lake, whereupon she kills her helper and returns to the party looking like the cat that swallowed the canary. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide

Familiar Italian character actor Giancarlo Prete (here using the pseudonym "Timothy Brent") helps a trio of Texas Rangers escort a spy (Karin Schubert) to Mexico in this routine spaghetti Western from Bruno Corbucci who wrote the far superior genre classic Django. Future porn star Schubert has a nude scene, and the cult cast may draw some (co-star Luigi Montefiore later starred as Antropophagus for Aristide Massaccesi), but this one is for devotees only. With Eduardo Fajardo, Cris Huerta, and Carlo Rustichelli, who also composed the peculiarly eclectic score. ~ Robert Firsching, All Movie Guide

A Confederate deserter battles a Mexican bandit when the deserter's child dies for lack of milk. Warner (George Hilton) receives word his girlfriend is dying and about to give birth to the couple's child. The woman is the daughter of Don Pedro Sandoval (Ernest Borgnine), who hates all gringos and Warner in particular. Warner sets out for Juarez, but is captured by a Confederate unit and jailed. He escapes with two other men when they flee from their grave-digging detail. Warner arrives in Juarez where he finds his lover has died of cholera after having given birth to a baby boy. Sandoval gives the squalling, sickly infant to Warner, but the locals refuse to help Warner find milk for the baby. One callous rancher drops a bottle of milk rather than help the hated gringo. The baby dies, and Warner and his men join a group of outlaw monks led by the Padre (Leo Anchoriz). Warner seeks revenge on those who would not help his cause. Staying one step ahead of the cholera epidemic and the Confederates. Warner returns to the rancher who dropped the bottle and drowns him in a bucket of milk while the townsfolk watch in horror. The gang continues to rob and pillage, taking refuge in a bar and pawing at the saloon girls. Warner then sets his sights on Sandoval. He tracks the bandit to a bull ring where the two fight with knives for the inevitable showdown. The film is plagued by poor English dubbing. ~ Dan Pavlides, All Movie Guide

The title tells all in this western. The trouble is that it is difficult to tell whether or not the film is a serious venture or a parody. There is certainly plenty of violence. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

The Italian-Spanish Vengeance is Mine should not be confused with the 1948 British film or the 1980 Japanese production of same name. Spaghetti-western veteran George Hilton plays a man who spends the early portions of the film seeking out the person who allowed his family to die of disease during the Civil War. When that man (Ernest Borgnine) turns out to be unrepentant, it's all cat-and-mouse until the climactic showdown. A certain amount of sweaty intensity elevates this Spanish-Italian oater. Vengeance is Mine was released in Europe as Quei Dispe Rati Che Puzzano di Sudore et di Morte. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

In this comical spaghetti western, a companion film to Seven Guns for the MacGregors, two immigrant families move to Texas during the 1800s. The MacGregors hail from Scotland while their neighbors the Donovans come from Ireland. The two families frequently engage in rivalry, but it is all in fun as all six MacGregor boys are engaged to the Donovan girls. The trouble begins during an engagement party for Bailey and Flori. The festivities are interrupted by an outlaw gang which steals the trunk containing all the MacGregor's money. Naturally the boys, including Bailey, take off in hot pursuit. Flori, afraid her beloved may be tempted by the outlaw's wanton women, follows them and ends up taken hostage. Bailey tries to save her but ends up captured also. Now his brothers, aided by helpful natives must save them both. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

Gerard Tichy plays a somewhat round-the-bend European count. His face is horribly disfigured, which in a film like this is a reflection of his warped personality. Tichy's daughter Joan Hills fears that dad will do her harm, in order to fulfill an ancient family ritual. She's right: Hills wakes up one day to find that Tichy has buried her alive. The Spanish/Italian The Blancheville Monster is also known as Horror. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Not to be confused with the like-vintage Brazilian film Besame Mucho, the Italian-Spanish Besame is a confusing melange of several genres. Sara Montiel, Maurice Ronet, and Franco Fabrizi are the most recognizable faces appearing on camera during the film's 101 minutes. Per the title, which translates to "Kiss Me", the film spotlights plenty of romantic entanglements. These are subjugated to a dizzying progression of espionage activities, wherein no one is able to separate the good guys from the bad guys. Films in Review magazine used to refer to international spy flicks like Besame as "kaleidescopes"-as apt a description as any for this almost indescribable romp. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

"There will always be...SONS OF HERCULES!!!" So goes the tacked-on TV theme music of the Italian sword and sandal opus Invincible Gladiators. One of those sons of Hercules is herein played by Richard Lloyd (though Herk's name is never alluded to in the dialogue). A beautiful princess has been kidnapped, and a handsome prince is beside himself. Lloyd offers his services to the prince, doing battle with the minions of an evil queen. Hopefully, when you catch up with Invincible Gladiators, the film's color process won't have faded into living brown, as has happened with many entries in the "Sons of Hercules" TV package. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Tigre de Chamberi is also known as K.O. Miguel, which happens to be the name of the film's pugnacious protagonist. Jose Luis Ozores plays a naïve young boxer who is taken to the top by his worldly pal Tony Leblanc and no-nonsense trainer Antonio Garisa. Though his ring technique is more funny than ferocious, Ozores manages to emerge triumphant from the experience -- and as a bonus, he wins the love of beautiful heroine Helene Remy. Much of the comedy in Tigre de Chamberi is derived from its depiction of easily familiar boxing "types," from punch-drunk sparring partners to overzealous fans. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
