Grand Rapids, MI, native Jess Walton is perhaps best known for the role of Jill Foster Abbott on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. The actress was a graduate of Loretto Abbey in Toronto when she moved to Hollywood in 1969 and joined the thriving arts scene. En route to testify before a Senate committee, syndicate snitch Vincent Ritchie (Paul Stevens) is seriously wounded in an ambush. Once a woman is the "old lady" of a motorcycle gang leader, she is always his "old lady," even when she goes to live in a hippie peace commune and practices the disciplines of peace and love.
