Carol Alt Movies
Early on in her modeling career, Carol Alt was lauded as "the Face" and "the Most Beautiful Woman in the World" by Life and Playboy magazines respectively. A native of Queens, NY, she became a fashion model at age 16 and soon rose to the top of her profession. Alt made her film debut in 1983 playing a small role in Portfolio, but she did not become an actress until 1986 when she starred in the Italian film Monte Napoleone. Alt has developed quite a following in Europe and the bulk of her film and television work has been produced in Italy. In 1991, she appeared in Vendetta, a television miniseries. Alt occasionally appears in U.S.-produced films, most notably, Howard Stern's Private Parts (1996). Alt also has appeared on-stage. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie GuideAn angry swarm of genetically enhanced wasps challenges humankind's comfortable status on the food chain in a director Paul Ziller's tense tale of bugs gone bad. Having escaped from the laboratory where skilled scientists had been attempting to concoct a powerful pesticide specifically designed to kill wasps, a vicious swarm of experiment subjects quickly begins reproducing and soon descends on a small Midwestern town. When fly swatters, bug zappers, and even the most powerful industrial-strength pesticides fail to rid the terrified town of the deadly flying menace, it's up to scientist Kent (Michael Shanks) to come up with a more effective means of beating nature's wrath. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Cashing in on the real-life influx of pesky "snake-head" fish in Midwestern lakes, this inexpensive sci-fi epic is set in a small Maryland fishing community called Cultus Lake. A dangerous strain of mutated snakeheads has decimated the lake's fish population, whereupon Doc Jenkins (played by X-Files' William B. Davis, aka "Cigarette-Smoking Man"), the shady owner of a nearby chemical plant, fills the water with pollutants to kill off the invaders. At the same time, the local leaders, desperate to pull Cultus Lake out of a severe financial slump, has dumped human growth hormones in the lake to improve the stock. You guessed it: Both the chemicals and hormones succeed only in making the snakeheads even larger and more ferocious--and worse still, they are now leaving the lake and crawling around on dry land, in search of human blood! Caught in the middle of the crisis is Sheriff Patrick James (Bruce Boxleitner) and the standard-issue beautiful female biologist Lori Dale (Carol Alt). An amalgam of every cheesy CGI effect ever seen on the many Jaws ripoffs that have proliferated as made-for-cable and direct-to-video thrillers, Snakehead Terror received its biggest audience when it was telecast by the Sci-Fi network on March 13, 2004. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Follow the adventures of a stolen video camera as it constantly changes hands in filmmaker Richard Martini's unhinged entry into the Dogme movement. From landing in the hands of tourists, celebrity stalkers, and even a fearless sky diver, the well-traveled camcorder continues to turn-up in the most unlikely of places. After being pawned, stolen, and lost by a series of well-traveled owners, the camera eventually lands in the hands of a wannabe filmmaker running short on original ideas. When an old friend gives the filmmaker the unique idea of making a movie about the worldly camera's well-documented adventures, the images that appear on the tape serve as the inspiration for a film that promises something special for everyone. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
A law enforcement officer must decide if he follows the law of man or the law of God in this Christian-themed thriller. Thorold Stone (Jeff Fahey) is an high-level agent with One Nation Earth (or O.N.E.), the global law enforcement group founded by self-proclaimed messiah and international despot Franco Macalousso (Nick Mancuso). Stone has been out of sorts and unable to focus on his work ever since his wife and children disappeared along with millions of others not long ago -- an event some believe to have been the Rapture. One day, Stone is sent out to investigate a school bus accident believed to have been caused by "The Haters," an underground Christian group led by Helen Hannah (Leigh Lewis). But as Stone looks into the facts of the matter, he learns that O.N.E. agents were behind the sabotage, and thinks he may have found evidence to back up his suspicions in the form of a computer disc he's found at a secret O.N.E. post. Stone turns to eccentric computer genius Willie Spino (Tony Nappo) to decode the disc's contents. Len Parker (David Roddis), Macalousso's second in command, has discovered that Stone has the missing computer disc and is determined to silence him before he can find out what it contains, with the leader's "Day of Wonders" looming over the horizon. Based on a best-selling autobiography, this comedy drama is the surprisingly sweet-natured life story of a controversial radio personality. Howard Stern, who stars as himself, is a nerdy New York kid who dreams of a disc jockey career despite being a self-loathing klutz who lacks a traditional broadcaster's voice. A strikeout artist in college, Stern's romantic travails end when he meets and marries Alison (Mary McCormack), a beautiful social worker. Stern's early career at several radio stations is undistinguished. Bored, he makes his life the centerpiece of his show, including his obsessions with sex and bathroom humor, and he finds willing cohorts in news reporter Robin Quivers and producer Fred Norris. After an abortive tenure at a Washington D.C. station that loathes his high-rated antics, he lands at NBC in New York. Again, Stern clashes regularly with executives, especially Kenny "Pig Vomit" Rushton (Paul Giamatti), who runs roughshod over Stern's team. At home, Stern's tendency to discuss the intimate details of his marriage takes a toll, reaching a meltdown when he jokes about Alison's recent miscarriage on-air. ~ Karl Williams, All Movie Guide

Hulk Hogan must defend his family against thugs in this nautical thriller co-starring former Cover Girl model Carol Alt. In Beyond Justice-- an Italian-made action film directed by Tessari Duccio with an unusually fine cast -- Christine Sanders (Carol Alt), American millionairess and mother of the grandson of a fanatic Emir (Omar Sharif), hires mercenary Tom Burton (Rutger Hauer) to return her son after the Emir has him kidnapped. Against the advice of her lawyer (Elliott Gould) and her friend Sal (Brett Halsey), Christine accompanies Tom and endures a series of hardships such as a surprise attack and a sandstorm. This rather old fashioned, slow film is entirely predictable and tedious.
