In trying to figure out the extent of baby Wyatt's powers -- and, eventually, to take over those powers herself -- the Crone (Grace Zabriskie) imposes the Curse of the Monkey Totem on the Charmed Ones. As a result, each girl loses one of her senses: Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) is deaf ("Hear no evil"), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) is blind ("See no evil"), and Paige (Rose McGowan) is mute ("Speak no evil"). In addition to compounding the girls' domestic, professional, and personal problems, their afflictions also leave little Wyatt defenseless -- or so it seems. Despite being unable to speak throughout most of the episode, Paige manages to belt out a rendition of Peggy Lee's "Fever." ~ All Movie Guide

During the Korean War, Frank Fletcher, late husband of mystery writer Jessica Fletcher (Angela Lansbury), was forced to bail out of the "Dixie Damsel", a crippled C97 cargo plane. Now, 36 years later, the wreckage of the "Dixie Damsel" has been found--with the remains of a murdered man inside! Moronic teens vacationing in Demonwood Forest are terrorized by a shambling Neanderthal -- not the director, but a big goon in a fuzzy ape suit who attacks George Kennedy and hauls his daughter off into the woods to a fate worse than death... perhaps to a screening of this movie. As it turns out, the rampaging beastie (which looks like a soiled feather-duster on legs) is not the local monster of mountain legend but merely a front for the subterranean activities of a cult of devil-worshipping aliens (they could have just called the tabloids if they needed better PR), who pass the time turning the locals into zombies... not a difficult task, especially with this brain-dead bunch. Cheap sets, dime-store costumes and Dinner Theater thesping lend a certain chintzy Ed Wood charm to the proceedings, but even this level of absurdity can't cover up the fact that the film's investors -- to say nothing of the audience -- probably felt profoundly rooked. ~ Cavett Binion, All Movie Guide
