Newspaper reporter Morgan Randall (Robert Deveau) has been blessed (or cursed) with a number of strange events and clues which lead him to think that zombies might really exist. He and his friend Shelly (Donna Asali) tracks them down to an abandoned prison, but then is trapped there by the mad scientist who has been busily reanimating corpses there. Fortunately, two teenagers, Jonathan and Michelle (Scott Schwartz and Corri Burt), are on the same trail, and they have come equipped to deal with the worst. In its partially completed state, this film was entitled "Graveyard" and appeared on the USA Network's Up All Night series. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide

Bernie Travis stars as the late Lenny Bruce, the controversial and profane stand up comic. Bruce divides his time between the sleazy, smoke filled nightclubs and courthouses when he is charged with violating obscenity laws in several states. The battles moralistic lawyers, shady club owners and drugs. The acid tongued comedian confides in girlfriend Iris McCabe (Coutney Sherman) as his legal and drug problems increase his paranoia. He refuses to concede to those who would limit his right to free speech. A powerful scene is his arrest in a New York club that is a prelude to his death by a heroin overdose. ~ Dan Pavlides, All Movie Guide

Robert Allen isn't particularly "reckless" in this rather pedestrian Western, which had the gall to cast the non-actor in dual roles. When Jim Allen (Allen number one) is lynched, his identical twin brother Bob (Allen number two), a Texas Ranger, takes his place in an attempt to flush out the man responsible. He proves to be one Barlowe (Harry Woods), a cattle baron who has hired a gang of ruffians to intimidate the local sheepherders. But when one of the gang members, Mort (Jack Rockwell), escapes from the law, the game is up and Bob's real identity is revealed. Attempting to warn her beau, pretty Mildred Newton (Louise Small) is abducted along with the late Jim Allen's young son, Jimmy (Buddy Cox). The latter, however, manages to free himself and while Bob hunts down the evil Barlowe. The sheep men, lead by Mildred's brother, Chet (Jack Perrin), bring the rest of the gang to justice. ~ Hans J.
