Nickelodeon network favorite Miranda Cosgrove stars in this horse-driven drama. When Hannah Mills takes on a school project photographing horses in the wild, she has no idea they are about to become her passion. Their graceful movements and flowing manes captivate her and soon the mustangs are her reason for living as she falls in with the ranch lifestyle. But what she's about to discover is going to put her and the ranchers in danger, because somebody else has their eyes on the horses. This is a story about the love between people and nature and the dangerous lines that are crossed when greed gets in the way. Wild Stallion also stars Danielle Churchran, Fred Ward, Connie Sellecca, and Robert Wagner. ~ All Movie Guide

A handful of fighting men must defy the odds to save their own lives and thousands of others in this drama set during World War II. In late 1944, a band of nearly a hundred American soldiers are making their way through a wooded region of Belgium when they are ambushed by German forces in a battle that became known as "the Malmady Massacre." A small group of American soldiers are able to take cover -- hard-boiled Sgt. Gunderson (Peter Holden), a grunt from Louisiana called Kendrick (Lawrence Bagby), a cynical medical officer from Brooklyn by the name of Gould (Alex Niver), and Cpl. Greer (Corbin Allred), known to his pals as "Deacon." Deacon is a devout Mormon who doesn't drink or smoke, carries his Bible with him at all times, and spent time in Germany as a missionary before the war, giving him an empathy with the enemy that sometimes puts him at odds with the other men. Deacon is also a master sharpshooter who has been having a crisis of conscience after nearly killing an innocent Belgian family while on patrol. Surrounded by Germans and with seemingly no means of escape, Gunderson and the men encounter Oberon Winley (Kirby Heybourne), a British intelligence officer trapped by the massacre. Winley has top secret information that could change the course of the war if it gets to Allied commanders in time, so Gunderson, Deacon, Kendrick, and Gould must find a way to get themselves and Winley away from Malmady before its too late. Inspired by a true story, Saints and Soldiers was the first feature film from Ryan Little, a Utah-based filmmaker who previously made a number of short subjects relating to issues of faith in the Church of Latter Day Saints. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

While vacationing in Mexico, Chip Rosetti, the son of a close friend of the mayor of San Francisco, dies in what appears to be a skydiving accident. Coroner Dr. Madero (Jorge Cervera Jr.) throws a spanner in the works by declaring that Chip wasn't killed by the fall: He was drowned! Despite his reluctance to travel in a country where "Don't Drink the Water" is a way of life, Monk (Tony Shalhoub) honors the mayor's request to investigate Chip's demise--and soon becomes a candidate for murder himself. Guest stars Tony Plana and David Norona are amusingly cast as a pair of local police officers who come off as precise Mexican equivalents of Monk's old friends Captain Stottlemeyer and Lieutenant Disher. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Grissom (William L. Petersen), Nick (George Eads), and Sara (Jorja Fox) would seem to have an open-and-shut case on their hands when a suspect is caught burying a body that has been shot three times. But, despite an overwhelming amount of evidence, Grissom doubts that the suspect is the guilty party. And in another development, Catherine (Marg Helgenberger) and Warrick (Gary Dourdan) must determine if a woman found dead in a health spa locker room was a victim of natural causes, murder -- or something else. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
A elderly man and his estranged son search for treasure and try to repair their relationship in this bittersweet comedy. Harry Agensky (Kirk Douglas) is a one-time welterweight boxing champion who lives in Canada with his son Moses (Kurt Fuller). Harry's other son, Lance (Dan Aykroyd), feels that his father never really cared about his dreams and ambitions, and now Lance has little affection for his Dad. However, Lance's relationship with his teenage son Michael (Corbin Allred) is not faring much better. Lonely since the death of his wife and infirm due to a stroke, Harry wants to retire to a ranch in Northern Canada, but he can't afford the property. Lance invites Harry along for a skiing trip with Michael; Harry agrees, but at the last minute he talks them into going to Nevada instead. Harry claims he threw a fight years ago and was paid off in a cache of diamonds that he hid somewhere in Vegas; if he can find the gems, he'll be able to buy the ranch. Lance is dubious, but he gives in to Harry's determination and the three head for Nevada, hoping to find both the diamonds and some common ground. Diamonds was Kirk Douglas's first film after a life-threatening stroke in 1997; Lauren Bacall appears in a small role as a madam in a Nevada brothel, marking her first appearance onscreen with Douglas since Young Man with a Horn in 1950. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

Mel Brooks directed and co-wrote this satiric comedy which lampoons a number of cinematic treatments of the legend of Sherwood Forest, including Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and The Adventures of Robin Hood. The Sheriff is eager to put Robin Hood out of business with the aid of criminal mastermind Don Giovanni (Dom DeLuise), but Robin soon has an ally in the royal palace when he falls for the lovely Maid Marian (Amy Yasbeck), whose minder Broomhilde (Megan Cavanagh) has uncooperatively outfitted Marian with a chastity belt.
