Beautiful Rachel (Megan Ward) is the homebound wife of a wealthy, emotionally cold millionaire, Holden (David Dukes). While Holden is away on one of his many business trips, Rachel's close -- very close -- friend, the equally beautiful Carla (Kristin Minter), plots to kill Holden for the inheritance. With murder on their mind, they seduce simpleton cowboy Travis (Linden Ashby), whom they meet in a bar, and convince him to do their dirty work. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to the cunning women, a private eye (John Ratzenberger) hired by Holden to follow Rachel (he suspects her of having an affair) discovers the scheme on the night of the intended murder. Alibis backfire, loyalties are questioned, and more than one murder takes place before the unpredictable ending.

This sequel to the sci-fi thriller The Arrival stars Patrick Muldoon as Jack, who works with computers for Montreal's National Space Agency. After Zane Ziminski (the astronomer-hero of the first film) is found dead, Jack receives a letter Zane sent to him shortly before his death. The letter speaks of an alien plot to decimate the earth's human population and urges others to work against the interstellar threat. Jack joins a group of scientists and concerned observers monitoring the alien threat, including a female reporter, Bridget (Jane Sibbett). A woman is caught in the middle of a cat-and-mouse game between fugitive aliens in this sci-fi thriller. A mysterious man named Townsend (Lance Edwards) attempts to steal a gun from a police car; an altercation results, and Townsend is repeatedly shot by the cops. Medical Examiner Dori Caisson (Hilary Shepard) is performing an autopsy on Townsend's seemingly dead body when his wounds suddenly heal, and Townsend forces Caisson to help him escape. Townsend and Caisson are soon approached by Yates (Robert Forster), who attempts to kill them and sends them on a high-speed chase. The next morning, Townsend tells Caisson that he is actually a law enforcement officer from another world, and that Yates is a criminal from his planet whom he is assigned to apprehend. Townsend's ability to resist bullets and heal himself convince her that he is indeed from another world, but she's not so sure who is the good guy. This passable monster chiller is actually aimed at a slightly younger audience, featuring a young hero whose family relocates to an old ranch house in the Southwestern desert in which resides an ancient Comanche monster known as a "Quagway" -- which has a sweet tooth for bite-sized human morsels. Of course, the poor kid spends three-fourths of the film trying to convince his addle-brained father that there's something evil lurking about... but dad's too wrapped up in his own problems to notice. The monster is not particularly scary in full view -- and we see it in full view quite a bit -- but the film's lack of overt shocks may be due to the slightly younger age of its target audience. Direction is credited to Kevin S. Tenney, who took over after writer John Woodward withdrew. ~ Cavett Binion, All Movie Guide

A group of teens plan a Halloween party at an abandoned funeral parlor in this well-crafted horror film. The home is rumored to be haunted after the owner slaughtered his family and killed himself years before. The teens plan on scaring their classmates, unaware that demons from hell are released for a night of terror for bad behavior. One by one, the teens fall victim to the evil that dwells within the parlor. The audience is left guessing who, if anyone, will be alive the following morning.
