With bit roles in such small-screen hits as Law & Order, Diagnosis Murder, JAG, Oz, and Touched By an Angel preceding his turn as a police sergeant who unknowingly works alongside a secretive serial killer in the Showtime series Dexter, actor Erik King was already well on his way to stardom when he landed his most prominent television role to date.
