Brian Austin Green Movies
Born in 1973, Los Angeles native Brian Austin Green is best known for his role as David Silver in the '90s pop-culture phenomenon, Beverly Hills 90210; however, Green had been appearing on the small-screen long before he made a name for himself as Donna Martin's (Tori Spelling) lucky boyfriend. By the age of 11, when he appeared in a film produced by a student of the University of Southern California, Green knew he wanted a career in the arts, and by 1989, he was well on his way to doing just that, having made appearances on Knots Landing, Baywatch, The New Leave It to Beaver, and Highway to Heaven. In 1990, the same year as the successful launch of 90210, Green could also be seen in a starring role in James Slocum's An American Summer. The actor would increase his big-screen appearances throughout the mid-'90s and go on to appear in Joey Travolta's erotic thriller The Laws of Deception in 1998, and 2002's Purgatory Flats. Before long, Green agreed to direct and star in Fish Without a Bicycle (2004), a romantic comedy for the twentysomething set. He is unhappy with the new arrangement and finds his new bohemian lifestyle strange and the activities of his new peers, stupid. His life begins to change a bit when he befriends a young surfer named Fin. At first he thinks of the fun-loving Fin as a real dolt, but later he admits he was wrong. Billy Hayes' drama Cock & Bull Story concerns boxers struggling with their sexual instincts. Set in working-class New Jersey, the film stars Bret Roberts as Travis, a young fighter on the rise. Those close to him, especially his trainer Pascoe (Greg Mullavey), object to Travis hanging around best friend Jacko (Brian Austin Green). Perpetually the subject of rumors concerning his sexual orientation, Travis ends up unwittingly taking part in a gay bashing incident. Jacko begins hiding out from tough guy Dumiak (Darin Heames). Even though he has a girlfriend, Annie (Wendy Fowler), Travis admits that his style of boxing may have something to do with his hidden homosexual yearnings. The (mostly) true story of a Hollywood princess turned bounty hunter is told in this witty action-drama from director Tony Scott. Domino Harvey (Keira Knightley) was the daughter of famed actor Laurence Harvey (played by Jesse Pate) who passed on when Domino was only eight years old. Domino's mother, former fashion model Paulene Stone (played by Jacqueline Bisset and renamed (%Sophie Wynn) in the film), strove to give her daughter a comfortable life, but Domino was naturally rebellious, and after a contentious stint in boarding school, a brief career as a runway model, and a fling with the fashion business, Domino was looking for something more exciting. She found it when he met Ed Mosbey (Mickey Rourke), an ex-con who had gone on to a successful career as a "bail recovery agent" -- in short, a bounty hunter. Ed also taught others how to join his profession, and Domino took his course and joined his team, along with Choco (Edgar Ramirez), a headstrong bail agent who took an immediate fancy to Domino. Domino, Ed, and Choco became a successful team -- successful enough that television producer Mark Heiss (Christopher Walken) asked them to become the subject of a television reality series. However, it was after the cameras were turned on Domino that her life got truly crazy. Bail bondsman Claremont Williams III (Delroy Lindo) had hired Domino and her friends for a risky case, and soon Domino, Ed, and Choco were chasing missing men and money while landing in hot water with both the FBI and the Mafia. Domino was loosely based on Domino Harvey's real life story; sadly her personal life was as reckless as her career, and Domino died as a result of drug abuse on June 27, 2005, after this film was completed. As she tries to sort out her future and her love life, Jules often confides in her close friend Vicki (Jennifer Blanc), a lesbian who carries just a bit of a torch for Jules, and she gets some solid if unexpected advice from middle-aged Greta (Edie McClurg).
