Jenna Jameson is arguably the most popular star of pornographic films of the late '90s. She debuted at age 20, in 1996, and by the year's end received almost every possible award from organizations within the adult movie industry. In the conclusion of a two-part story, the Griffins' talking, martini-drinking dog Brian has determined that his master Peter is the cause of his addictive personality, and thus he has left Quahog to seek his fortune elsewhere. Brian ends up in Hollywood, where through certain connections he finds working directing porno films. Meanwhile, malevolent infant Stewie Griffin auditions for the TV show "Kids Say the Darnedest Things" (the better to put in motion his latest scheme to take over the world). Winning the audition, Stewie also wins his family an all-expense-paid trip...to Hollywood. The first TV movie produced by the Comedy Central cable network, Porn 'n' Chicken was, believe it or not, based on a true story. In 1996, five overworked Yale undergrads formed a club to watch porno films on weekends while ingesting mass quantities of fried chicken and Miller High Life. As the "Porn 'n' Chicken Club" gained members and notoriety, the hide-bound Yale Establishment ordered that the club be closed down. Defiantly, the original members scraped together enough money to produce their own X-rated movie -- and much to the dismay of the faculty and administration, the club became more popular and renowned than ever. In the film, all character names are changed, and even Yale is not mentioned by name (it was filmed on the campus of Columbia University). What remains constant is the youthful exuberance of the club members and the anal-retentive reaction of the authority figures, notably Kurt Fuller as the Dean. Real-life porn stars Ron Jeremy and Jenna Jameson make amusing cameo appearances. Based on a best-selling autobiography, this comedy drama is the surprisingly sweet-natured life story of a controversial radio personality. Howard Stern, who stars as himself, is a nerdy New York kid who dreams of a disc jockey career despite being a self-loathing klutz who lacks a traditional broadcaster's voice. A strikeout artist in college, Stern's romantic travails end when he meets and marries Alison (Mary McCormack), a beautiful social worker. Stern's early career at several radio stations is undistinguished. Bored, he makes his life the centerpiece of his show, including his obsessions with sex and bathroom humor, and he finds willing cohorts in news reporter Robin Quivers and producer Fred Norris. After an abortive tenure at a Washington D.C. station that loathes his high-rated antics, he lands at NBC in New York. Again, Stern clashes regularly with executives, especially Kenny "Pig Vomit" Rushton (Paul Giamatti), who runs roughshod over Stern's team.
