This documentary includes extremely rare footage of 1953 rehearsals and performances by the Berliner Ensemble of productions by Bertholt Brecht. Brecht was a rare innovator in the world of theater and created intense and very political symbolic dramas which were modern in content, but very ancient in feeling.
