FYI, you really only need to get Disk 1, Disk 2 is an edited version made for movie theaters, Disk 1 has the full uncut version made for TV. They show you scenes from the upcoming episodes between the 3 part series I recommend fast forwarding through these as they give away quite a bit. This was really good, if you are a fan of Patrick McGoohan in the Prisoner, I think you will like this also. It is a bit dated in some parts but they are only minor things and won't affect your overall enjoyment of the story based on real person. Also it has to main actors from the 1951 version of Scrooge, the guy who plays Marley and the guy who plays younger Scrooge, the latter almost steals the show but is reined in early, but he plays a totally different character and it is cool to see his expanded range.

This two disc set contains two different version of Disney's Dr. Syn. The first disc contains the 3-part show from 1964 Disney's Wonderful World of Color entitled "The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh". Each part is about 44 minutes long with introductions and closing comments by Walt Disney, opening and closing credits of "Disney's Wonderful World of Color and previews of "next week's episode". This disc also has a 15 minute bonus feature looking back on the making of the film. Originally broadcast in a full screen format, this dvd shows a widescreen format of the film as it was originally shot. The second disc is the theatrical version of the film titled "Dr. Syn Alias the Scarecrow" with a running time of 98 minutes shown in widescreen format. This disc has a bonus feature of the history of Disney film making in the UK.

Very good movie. Brought back memories of watching it in the 1960's.
