Na Strazy Swej Stac Bede (1984)

Na Strazy Swej Stac Bede (1984)
Director Kazimierz Kutz has set off the extreme virtues of Jan Klimza (Krysztof Kolberger), a good resistance fighter who returns to Poland in 1939 to organize an underground movement to fight the Nazis against an incredibly unbelievable picture of flag-waving, saluting Poles who welcome the Germans into the country with open arms. Equally difficult to believe is Klimza's inability to see that he has been betrayed by the very woman he rejected as a lover, when the signs are as obvious as a billboard. Like a soup with too much seasoning, this drama will be unpalatable for most viewers. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi
