Synopsis of The Disappearance

Following up 1975's Golden Bear-winning Overlord, director Stuart Cooper delivered this 1977 psychological thriller starring Donald Sutherland as contract killer Jay Mallory. When his wife goes missing, Mallory finds that his distress is starting to affect his work. The plot thickens when he begins to suspect that his latest assignment is connected to her disappearance.
