Overplotted bit of French-Canadian oddness, that has too many unlikable characters behaving in too quirky ways for its own good. In the end, the least sympathetic characters triumph, while the others are left to wallow in weirdness. Decent acting by the cast helps as well as some surreal touches here and there, but overall the film is too distancing with a cynical final message. In French with English subtitles and no extras on the disc.
