OC&TB has a lot going for it: uniformly strong acting and production values and decent writing for starters. What it lacks are the insane energy level of late 80s, early 90s HK cinema and the over-the-top action of that same period. However, OC&TB and Kirk Wong are going for realism (up to a point) and they succeed. Plus it has Anthony Wong in it. Worth a rental.
