I absolutely LOVE this movie. It's one of my all-time favorites and I couldn't wait to share it with my family. This movie actually arrived broken in half three times before we got one that was in good condition. But it was so worth the wait!! The ending couldn't be better!! I highly recommend this as a family night movie. Not necessarily for very young children, but definitely for pre-teens and up. My entire family loved it. This is a fantastic role for Jeff Daniels and George Murdock is borderline evil as his father-in-law. Great casting, directing, acting. Wonderful script. It's one to add to your home collection.

What a GOOD movie! Difficult to get your hands on, apparently, but well worth the wait. Can't believe I never heard of it before now.
