For mature people with a knowledge and understanding of Urdu Poetry and Indian culture. Very thought provoking. Though slow and not dramatic, it is not for the average audience. People with intellectual tilt will find this movie as one fo the best in Hindi. The sets are real ( a rare find with Indian movies), the poetry adn music is outstanding. Shabana Azmi, as always, is exhilarating. Shashi Kapoor has done a very mature and diffcult role and played it well. Not recommended for hip hop teens or if you are just looking for entertainment.

Extremely slow and boring. Definitely not a comedy as described in the movie description.
