Making Contact (1985)

Making Contact (1985)
Member Rating:
German director Roland Emmerich filmed this conventional supernatural drama set in a small town in mid-America. Little Joey (Joshua Morrell) mourns the death of his father, and to compensate for his loss he "talks" to him on a red toy phone he has in his room. Joey has also been given the power of telekinesis, and he soon finds that since his emotions are as strong as any 11-year-old's, the ability to move objects around gets way out of hand. In fact, disaster looms on the horizon as even Joey's mother is threatened, and nothing seems able to bring the home and the boy back to normal. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi
