I like a lot of Fellini's work but this isn't one of them. He probably does a better job with this film than anyone else could but it's just not up to par. For example, the whole film takes place in one room, each person in the room is interviewed, on and on ad nauseum. Finally at the end it gets interesting for the last few minutes when the musicians revolt against the conductor. Overall a very boring low budget film, don't expect a real movie. If you want to see a good Fellini film watch "The ship sails on" , "city of women" or "8 1/2".
