"The Bermuda Depths" is something to experience. I saw it as a boy and it has haunted me for 30 years. Merely mentioning it in conversation usually results in the typical blank look on the faces of those who haven't seen it. But mention it to someone who had the fortune of seeing it and it's like the people in "Close Encounters" who are drawn together but don't know why. The film was made in the late 70's. It was made for TV. 'Nuff said. The music, the the imagery, and the folklore of "Jenny Hanniver" and the Bermuda Triangle just weave a cloak of fantasy that draws you in. I saw it 30 years ago and I recently obtained a bootleg DVR of it, and I'm not embarrassed to say that I still loved it. If the producers, Rankin & Bass, would pull their heads out of their butts, they'd release this on DVD. In the meantime, it can be found on a certain video website that involved you and tubes. ;-)
