There is so much information in this story that it keeps you wanting to learn more. And the music is rather interesting.

Don't look for a fast moving movie about airplanes and fox hunts; it's a drama, with plenty of drama and entertaining action throughout. I saw it when it first came to Masterpiece Theater, and enjoyed it even more this second time. I've been whistling the theme off and on for these many years and will continue to do so. I watched it in four sittings, nearly as good as reading a good book.

The characters lack depth, and the acting focusses about grinning teeth (which gets a bit much). You sense the fragility and danger of early aircraft and thats about it.
