Synopsis of Al Dahiya
Lionizing women as victims, this drama by Atif Salim features a wife and mother of two who is obligated to leave her family to go work as a nurse in order to support them. Zinip (Nadia El Gindi) and her family miraculously survive the collapse of their apartment building, but unless she leaves for a distant Gulf hospital to bring down a good salary, the family will not be able to afford another apartment. After she starts her new job she faithfully sends her husband money until she is unexpectedly fired; a vicious colleague has accused her of stealing morphine.
