This is a fun movie. It is my favorite Three Musketeer film. It has plenty of action, humor and doesn't take itself too seriously. The performances by Tim Currey as Cardinal Richelieu and Oliver Platt are great. Tim Currey is a very good villian. If this film was made by someone other than Disney I'm sure it would have gotten more notice.

I've enjoyed this movie for many years. Seeing it on DVD only made it better. The casting was almost perfect. Tim Curry is a deliciously evil Cardinal Richelieu, while Oliver Platt brings a wonderful humor to Porthos. The action was enough to keep my 8 year old boy riveted to the screen, while the romance enthralled my 12 year old girl. Overall, a movie for everyone!
