The low-budget team of producer Ashton Dearholt and director Francis Ford released this pedestrian silent Western featuring Dearholt's wife (Florence Gilbert) and Edmund Cobb. Gilbert played Rose, a recently orphaned girl who suspects her law enforcement boyfriend (Cobb) to be unfaithful and takes up with Pinto Pete (Dearholt). A horseshoe proves Pete to be a wanted outlaw, however, and Rose is saved in the nick of time by the heroic Cobb. ~ Hans J. Wollstein, Rovi
