The now-forgotten Arrow Film Company distributed a dozen feature-length mystery pictures, all of which featured "Tex, the Elucidator of Mysteries." As is obvious from the title, this feature centers around Wall Street, and Tex (Glen White) has his hands full unraveling the series of events. Broker Norman Temple (David Wall) has a package of bonds he has been assigned to sell. Minkin, one of the office clerks (Leo Delaney), decides to "borrow" these bonds, but Temple discovers they are missing. Minkin attempts to sneak the bonds back into the safe, but Temple walks in. Minkin shoots Temple, but circumstantial evidence points to James Borden (Alexander F. Frank), who has been known to speak threateningly toward the victim. In addition, the confused stenographer (James McAlpine) lies to the authorities. Through the discovery of fingerprints, and his astute observation, Tex manages to uncover the truth and solve the crime. ~ Janiss Garza, All Movie Guide
