This children's tearjerker tells the tender story of an orphan boy and his beloved dog. The trouble begins when a rich woman with an aversion to canines adopts the boy, but refuses to let the dog live with them. The boy is utterly bored without his playful pooch and so runs away. He and his furry friend end up hiding on a barge where they befriend two crooks. Later the criminals are just about to be arrested when the clever dog disposes of the incriminating evidence.
