Anita King, who was famous for her daredevil antics, was a natural for the lead in this picture, which presents a rather patronizing view of women in politics. Ann Murdock (King) doesn't believe the men in power are doing a very good job of upholding the law in Red Dog, NV, so she decides to run for sheriff herself. Since the women are unable to vote, they make their husbands cast ballots the way they want and Ann wins. She takes the prisoners out of jail and puts them to work cleaning the streets, which thrills everyone except Ann's opponents. The politicians release the prisoners and put the women behind bars in their place. In the midst of this unrest, tenderfoot Leonard Blair (R. Henry Grey) arrives in town and he rescues the women. The politicos frame him and have him arrested for robbing the express office. Ann confronts the real thief, who is one of the politicians, and then rescues Blair in a thrilling midnight ride. ~ Janiss Garza, All Movie Guide
