Synopsis of A Lady in Love
Barbara (Ethel Clayton) is a naive convent girl who runs off and elopes with a man she doesn't know very well. Only after the ceremony does she discover that he already has a wife and child. He takes off and she goes to New York to confer with her guardian about a divorce. The guardian's wife becomes jealous, although she has no reason to be -- Barbara meets the man of her dreams when the guardian procures an attorney named Brent (Harrison Ford). At a fashionable party, Barbara saves the guardian's wife from a scandalous situation and discovers that her own marriage is null and void, leaving her free to be with her attorney. ~ Janiss Garza, Rovi
