Synopsis of Bad Actress

Psycho Beach Party director Robert Lee King returns with this twisted black comedy about a has-been television actress who finds her career resurrected following a series of family tragedies. Alyssa Rampart-Pillage used to be the star of the hit TV series "HMO Nurse," but these days she's better known as the "Queen of Air Conditioning" in commercials for her husband Bernie's chain of appliance stores. Though her downhill slide continues after her daughter perishes in a fatal golfing mishap and her grieving husband becomes a spiritual zealot, Alyssa is surprised to find her star once again on the rise as corpses begin turning up everywhere, and the media obsession with her twisted case skyrockets. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
