This could've been the next great thing! It was just as good as the original, but different, and therefore better, for those of us who have faithfully watched the original and eventually got tired of the setting in NY. It was a terrible decision to cancel this show... and they killed the better actor in the first season.

This is an excellent series with a Cali touch, and as I never watched the TV episodes when aired, the series made it even better to watch within a couple of weeks. My only negative comment is against the producer who put the season finale ahead of sequence making for serious confusion!
