A Romeo and Juliet movie. The movie Director Baz Luhrmann did a job of bring you Baz Luhrmann. All highlight this folly of a movie and he wears his welcome out very early. Over blown, overdone and 20 minutes to long.. I give this movie My good RATING of 3 STARS. Michelle F. is a tool. that they use to up the rating scores. All the movies have the some write-ups on all of her movie REVIEWS. Copy copying copies. Meaningless dribble.

I was absolutely mesmerized! Gorgeous to look at, fabulous performances, and absolutely amazing! DiCaprio is Gatsby! I felt like the screenplay and Luhrman's treatment really added to and enhanced Fitzgerald's work, making it almost like watching the book in the mind of Fitzgerald. The only flaw was Jay Z's modern music - separately they are both wonderful but together it was discordant and distracting. Overall wonderful and definitely worth watching!

One of the best movies I ever seen. This movie is modernized and elaborative than the old version of The Great Gatsby. It's a MUST to watch:))
