Mitchum is one of the greatest actors ever and is good at being good and even better at being bad. The movie is in black & white which makes it even better. A must see.

This, the original "Cape Fear" is so much more omnimous and realistic than the remake with DeNiro. I love DeNiro....but he has NOTHING on Robert Mitchum.....Mitchum really embodies sinister evil in this film!
