Love this series. It is a series that aired on showtime about a woman who has cancer but does not want die without first living. She does not tell anyone of her family or friends because she does not want to go out being pitied. And she does not choose treatment because she does not "feel bad" and does not want to be sick for the rest of her days. It is wonderful addictive!

I noticed that all the reviews thus far were done by women. So as a guy I thought it would be nice to have a male perspective. After recently being diagnosed with a chronic illness myself, I thought I would give this series a go. To my surprise after watching the series opener I was hooked. Funny in so many ways. I never thought I, a typical Alpha Male would ever find a deep understanding of a female character. Go on guys give it a shot. It just might surprise you as well.

I would definitely recommend this outstanding and smart series. One of my favorite shows. Showtime did not dissappoint as usual, right up there with 'Weeds' and 'Nurse Jackie", strong female lead, funny and smart.
