A jazz trumpeter falls for a radiant but distant circus performer and convinces her to run away with him in this poetic romantic fantasy from writer/director Mitch Glazer (Scrooged, The Recruit. When wayward jazz musician Nate Mickey Rourke) is caught attempting to steal a car, he soon winds up looking down the barrel of a gun in the middle of the desert. Incredibly, Nate manages to cheat death by dodging a bullet, and wanders directly into the middle of a mysterious circus in a sea of sand. Instinctively drawn to Lily (Megan Fox) the Bird Woman, the wandering musician grows dejected when she spurns his repeated advances. In time, however, Lily begins to see Nate as her last chance to flee from a life of captivity. But just as the first chapter of Nate and Lily's storybook romance comes to a close, wealthy businessman Happy Shannon (Bill Murray) appears and threatens to destroy their one last shot at living happily ever after. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Some people will like this film, some people will hate it..One thing certain, no one one will love it and say they would want to watch it a second time..I mean meagan fox is not her best and she is made up with a pair of wings on her back..rediculous..

The only thing wrong with this movie is the misleading title. Knowledge or awareness of metaphysics and of parallel universes will make you love to discuss and analyze the movie. A story combination of What Dreams May Come and The Sixth Sense.

First of all, the movie wasn't bad, just slow. Second, Megan Fox is hot, but is it in her contract that she as to be told she's beautiful 20 times a movie? Third, really!! Mickey Rourke as the hero who gets the beautiful angel. And last, really!!! Bill Murray as the tough ganster. Casting did not make sense, but the movie did.
