Seconds Apart (2010)
Member Rating:
The horror begins when telekinetic twins Seth (Gary Entin) and Jonah Trimble (Edmund Entin) use their powers to kill a handful of popular classmates by forcing them to play an involuntary game of Russian roulette. As their gruesome rampage intensifies, tormented Detective Lampkin (Orlando Jones) launches a detailed investigation into the murders that quickly points to the twins as the prime suspects. When Detective Lampkin's investigations stalls out due to a frustrating lack of evidence, his lingering grief over losing his wife in a tragic house fire that left him horribly burned finds him sinking into a deep depression. Meanwhile, the sudden appearance of pretty new student Eve (Samantha Droke) begins to drive a psychic wedge between the twins as her presence begins distracting them from the mysterious video "project" they've been working on. After Detective Lampkin witnesses a gruesome "accident" involving Seth and Jonah, he delves into their background and makes a shocking discovery. Just as he unearths a key piece of evidence, however, all hell breaks loose as the twins become locked in a spectacular fight to the death. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

This movie was a dark, murderous, thrilling, scrambled puzzle that you had to try your best to put together. Well directed, so-so acting. Just didn't deliver as well as it could have. "Da Hood Critic"

Identical twins are a tad creepy in general, in my opinion, so that was a good place to start with this movie. These two are a couple of baddies with powers that I would say go beyond telekinesis. When one of them sprouts a conscience after meeting a new girl, it doesn't go over well with the other and bad things ensue. More bad things, I should say, since they've been doing bad things for a while. Without giving too much away, I'll make the observation that crazy types seem to unspool rather quickly when things don't go their way. The thing in the box was a little excessive!

Was wondering if it would be worth watching. I try watching all the After Dark movies. I that it was pretty interesting with a good story.
