Wasn't sure at first if this was a christian movie or not. And as the movie moved I figured the point of the movie was that many people get so caught up in their religion that they lose their common sense.

Just too rambling and confusing, more sexual than spiritual. Not worth the time.

An unusual, fascinating film. It's all about a believer who wants to feel the mystical Holy Spirit in her life. But as hard as she prays, the experience eludes her. Vera Farmiga stars in the film, which she also directs. The story never makes fun of her character Corinne or her fellow believers, yet it's probably a stretch for viewers who have never attended a fundamentalist church. I thought the vintage clothing that the cast wears--purchased from thrift shops--was perfect for the story.
