A reporter for a sensationalistic television tabloid show unravels the mystery behind a dish with the power to calm even a convicted serial killer in this South Korean drama from director Bae Seong-joon. Upon learning that a prisoner awaiting execution has requested doenjang jjigae (a Korean soybean paste stew) as his last meal, TV reporter Choi Yu-jin (Ryoo Seung-Ryong) attempts to seek out Jang Hye-Jin (Lee Yo-Won), a cook whose doenjang jjigae is said to have near-magical qualities.
