This movie was better than I thought. It is in German with English subtitles. The acting is good, and the effects aren't bad. It reminded me of a female version of Interview with a Vampire. You have a wise old, loney vampire who keeps collecting pretty women to keep her company over the ages. Some adapt well, others not so much. All in all, not a bad way to kill an hour and a half. You get to see some nice scenery of Berlin as well.

Subtiles, subtitles, subtiles... yes the movie has English subtitles. It also has a great English spoken soundtrack. All tou have to do is select it from the setup menu. Since this is a German production, the default language is German but like a large number of foreign films, they also include English spoken dialog. Im sure the large English speaking market in the world has something to with it. We liked this movie, the innovative version of the Vampire lore represented in this film was very interesting. Our only problem was that the leading character appeared to be more that human at first and then that possibility was ignored in the rest of the movie. Overall, it is worth the view.

This movie was a nice twist on an old story...kind of Lost Boyish but the female version. A definite collectible for those who like vampire flics. My only regret was not being able to see it in blu-ray.
