A surprisingly well-acted and directed (by Rowan Joffe) British gangster movie, taking place in the 60's involving a young girl, rose, who is a witness to a murder and she falls for the murder, Pinkie. Rose's boss, Ida's friend is the victim of the murder and Ida tries to save the young girl. This movie has a seasoned cast (Helen Mirren and John Hurt) along with new comers (Sam Riley and Andrea Risborough). One note---If you are American you might have to turn on the subtitles because a few of the cast members have thick accents that can be hard to understand.

A good movie about manipulation by a murderer to a girl that witness the murder. Gets the girl to fall in love with him to keep her from testifying against him.
