This movie never got off the ground. The Sturgess character was a loser and I can't see what the Anne Hathaway character saw in him. Each scene was a repeat of the previous disappointing scene. Just when you think the movie is going to get good, you get ripped off and it doesn't have a happy ending. It was supposed to be a love story. It was really a lesson on how relationships end up with two people are emotionally unhealthy. Sad ending.

Not what I expected at all. Boring the entire time. And the end, just a nonsense. A immitation of City of Angels. 10x worse. I am amazed by the fact that it still got 3 stars.I have to agree with one of the reviews:why was this movie made?Maybe to set an example of what you should not do.

This movie has a remarkably stupid ending. It seemed silly, and melodramatic, and not very well thought out. On the whole a disappointing and needlessly depressing film.
