This William Hartnell years episode of Doctor Who titled The Chase is an interesting episode. The Daleks have invented their own time machine much like the Tardis and chase the Doctor and his companions. Very cool idea for the first Doctor Who but the episode falls flat a few times in costumes, special effects, some boring parts, etc. This is typical of the early years and sometimes watching these as an adult aren't as good as when I was a child. The Space Museum starts interesting enough, even though some of the facts don't make as much sense but then it kind of gets into the usual Doctor Who rut of bad guys versus good guys wondering around same old same old story line. The bad guys have ugly costumes (perhaps black would have been a better color) and the story and actors seem bored. The young rebels with their eye brows was almost comical. I did enjoy the special features as I'm very interested in the early years of Doctor Who.
Two somewhat campy Doctor Who stories. The Space Museum has an interesting concept but ultiametly becomes a more typical "Doctor leads a rebellion" story; the Chase is a romp through space and time pursued by a Dalek time machine...but the stops are mainly goofy stuff like the Marie Celeste and a haunted house.
