    I love the message about how special the relationship is between moms and their children. The supporting characters are funny. My son and I really liked this movie.

    The quality and style of animation threw me off at first, but as I watched it I became aware of just how detailed it truly is; then I learned they used motion-capture and was quite impressed. Seth Green and the others did an incredible job and this is probably one of the first animated movies to have the whole cast recording together, something rare in the US but I think it works better. The storyline is surprisingly good and it didn't feel like a child's movie. I'd not only love to watch this again, I'm considering going out and buying it. Not all of Disney's non-Pixar animations have been good the last few years, so that's definitely saying something.
