If you enjoyed the TV series, DON'T get this. It's nothing but pieced together clips from the show. To say this is highly disappointing would be an understatement.

The writers of Battlestar Galactica used to run on the screen that the Cylons "had a plan". After the Bush re-election, the series went sideways; colonists were recast as al-Qaeda type suicide bombers; the Cylons were trying to establish a government. And while the end of the series pulled things out, the idea of "a Plan" disappeared from the weekly scroll. This movie is worth watching for the destruction of the colonies, but not much else. And that the "Plan" is simply kill all the colonists, that's just stupid.

"The Plan" smacks of nothing more than clips strung together in an attempt at making them long enough to be considered a movie. Rather than see what the actual "grandiose" plan is - (what I would've rather) namely how they achieved resurrection and arrived at the decision to end humanity - we're given clips to show how individual events were perciptated by and percieved by some of the other characters. We don't learn anything new and instead are roundly bored.
