Synopsis of Play Dead

A former television star calls on his old acting companions to help save his life after stumbling onto a murder scene in a Nevada ghost town. Ten years ago, Ronnie Reno (Chris Klein) was the top cop on "The Hero Team," these days he's just another faded star seeking to jumpstart his career. When Ronnie sees too much during his drive through the desert, a small band of murderous drug dealers set out to silence him - permanently. Desperate, Ronnie convinces his former co-stars to pose as DEA agents and get him out of the deadly predicament. The more serious the situation becomes, the more everyone involved begins to realize just how quickly it's spiraling out of control.
