no discernable plot. not much humour either.

I've heard about Midsummer celebrations in the Baltic Countries and Scandinavia. Evidently, they can be wild and wooly celebrations after a long, dark winter. This quirky film is quite obscure at times. Birgit Minichmayr, the one cast member I'm familiar with, has only a brief appearance at the end. Too bad.

This was a terrible movie. The characters were likable to some degree, but even at 90 minutes, the multiple threads had zip in common and took too long to develop. The one storyline described in the synopsis was sort of OK, but the multiple other storylines were basically boring. I don't know who gave this move two stars, but it weren't me.
