I don't know why this is getting good reviews. Maybe it was reviewed on a Sy Fy Channel scale? This might be one of the best films ever produced by the Sy Fy (Sci Fi) network, but it pales in comparison to most straight to DVD low budget horror/sci fi flicks. The Wyvern CGI is fairly lame as the actors perfunctorily read their lines to create an atmosphere of over-all boredom. The scenery looks great, but when you'd rather look at the trees than follow the story, that's not good. For true hardcore SyFy films fans only.
