Upon arriving at his daughter's bedside, the shooting victim's father, Costello (Johnny Hallyday), vows to put the triggermen in the ground despite the vehement objections of police investigating the case. Before Costello became a cook, he too was a killer, but these days his past is just a distant blur. Johnny To is slowly losing his edge. Running Out of Time, The Mission, and Exiled were pretty good HK films with creativity, well directed with interesting plots. But like his last movie : Sparrow, this one is choked terribly. The movie lack plot, continuation and ill-developed story lines quickly put me to bed.
